Outlet receptacles cause Christmas lights to trip off

The following incidents were taken from reports on file with the Haddonfield Police Department.

On Dec. 8 at 5:31 p.m. on the 200 block of Lincoln Ave., a caller reported that she believed someone had cut the wires to her Christmas lights again. Upon further investigation, the officer determined that the outlet receptacles that the lights were plugged into were tripping off. The officer was able to reset the outlet in the front of the residence but was unable to reset the outlet receptacle in the rear. There was no criminal activity. The caller was satisfied with the response and result.

On Dec. 2 at 12:01 p.m. on the unit block of Warwick Road, a victim reported that she parked her vehicle in the United Methodist Church parking lot next to the 30 Washington Ave. business complex. After mass, she discovered that someone keyed her driver side door. The damage was 12 inches in length. There were no witnesses. The estimated value of the damage was unknown.
