The Lady Seneca Golden Eagles freshmen girls’ basketball team battled the Mainland Lady Mustangs Thursday, Dec. 6 in a pre-season scrimmage.
The varsity also played against Mainland in a pre-season game at the same time. During those games however, the score is erased after the first two quarters, said varsity head coach Sean Kennevan.
“I expect a good season. Last year was the first time ever we took South Jersey,” said Kennevan. “The girls are really excited.”
The first season game will be played Friday, Dec. 14 against Paul IV at home. The freshmen will play at 4 p.m. and varsity will battle Paul IV at 5:30 p.m.
