According to Mt. Laurel Township, the municipal offices are closed today due to Hurricane Sandy.
Trash will not be picked up tomorrow and the community center will remain closed all week.
Mt. Laurel Schools will also stay closed through tomorrow.
“I recognize the hardship our closure may place on parents who may have to report to work regardless of conditions on these two days. However, in addition to the safety of our students and staff, our closure will support the efforts of local emergency personnel by limiting vehicles on our roadways and allowing for the use of district resources in their recovery work,” said Superintendent Dr. Antoinette Rath in a statement.
