The Cooper Foundation of Cooper University Hospital at 11 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 28, will hold its third annual Pink Roses, Teal Magnolias brunch at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Cherry Hill.
Hundreds of women from the South Jersey and Philadelphia region will attend the event, which will benefit breast and gynecological cancer research and clinical programs at Cooper Cancer Institute (CCI) and provide local cancer survivors a chance to celebrate with their friends and family and remember lost loved ones.
The brunch also will honor James Aitkins, Jr., M.D., of the Division of Gynecology Oncology at CCI; Robert Somer, M.D., of the Division of Hematology/Medical Oncology at CCI, and Ann Steffney, R.N., Lead Nurse Navigator/Breast Cancer Nurse Navigator at CCI with the Pink and Teal Hero Award.
The program will feature inspiring stories from cancer survivors and will include a “Survivors Parade” to recognize all cancer survivors in attendance. Guests will also be invited to participate in a health fair, silent auction and raffle.
