Haddonfield Plays and Players, located at 957 East Atlantic Ave., Haddonfield, presents Picasso at the Lapin Agile. All tickets are $15.
This September we will transport you through time and space — to Paris in 1904 where Albert Einstein and Pablo Picasso have a chance meeting. They and the other patrons of the Lapin Agile spend the evening debating art, science, genius, sex, death, and — of course — novelty pies.
Written by actor and comedian Steve Martin, Picasso at the Lapin Agile is a humorous look at the nature of beauty as seen through the eyes of two of the twentieth century’s greatest minds, and several of its not-so-great minds. The play is thick with Martin’s wry humor and love of the absurd as the ensemble discusses everything from astrophysics to incontinence.
