On July 14, The Laurel Oak Garden Center held its 5th Annual Pond Tour, raising $1,300 to benefit both the Evesham and Medford Education Foundations.
Despite the inclement weather, participation was impressive to a crowd who gathered for a barbeque at Laurel Oak Garden Center.
Following the conclusion of the pond tour, co-owner Guy Scott gratefully thanked the public and all the pond owners who opened their backyards for visitors to see their beautiful ponds filled with swimming wild life, and landscapes.
“It was a great turnout despite the amount of rain we had and we are really proud of what we did today to benefit The Education Foundations of both Medford and Evesham,” said Dave Scott, Guy Scott’s brother and co-owner.
Over 100 pond tour and barbeque attendees helped to raise the money, and the amount raised will be evenly split to benefit both The Evesham and Medford Education Foundations.
