For a lot of kids, Halloween is like a cross between the Super Bowl, the World Series, and Burning Man combined. There’s not much better for a kid to dress up, walk around their neighborhood with their friends, and get free candy door-to-door. One girl in Evesham Township, however, made a huge sacrifice for all children to help feed a hungry family this holiday season.
Instead of collecting candy in her neighborhood for Halloween, Nina Pantaleone, 7, collected food for people in need. She donated the collected food to St. Vincent De Paul in Medford. Here she is showing off the food she collected during her trick or treat session. She will continue to take donations from interested Evesham Township residents.
