It’s election day in Cherry Hill

On Nov. 8, residents of Cherry Hill will elect a new mayor. Three council seats are also up for grabs.

Chuck Cahn, a semi-retired businessman, is running on the Democratic ticket for mayor. Attorney Stephen Buividas is the Republican candidate for mayor.

The Republican candidates for council are Maria Heckendorn, a retired school administrator; Dolores Kelly, author and retired educator; and attorney Ann Madden Tufano.

The Democratic candidates for council are current council member N. John Amato, a retired licensed public accountant; current council vice president Sara Lipsett, a substitute teacher; and Melinda Kane, a small business owner and special education teacher.
