Zelda Greenberg honored for her leadership in Cherry Hill
The Sisterhood of Temple Beth Sholom of Cherry Hill presented Zelda Greenberg with the Harriette Sengin Memorial Award for leadership and service at last month’s Members in Good Standing meeting. The Shabbatones of the University of Pennsylvania, an a cappella group, serenaded the ladies.
To complement the evening, The M&M Fund for High Risk Pediatric Cancer was invited to participate.
The lemonade stand served as an outlet for Tzedakah, which refers to an obligation to perform charity and philanthropic acts. The fund was formed to honor best friends Max Levine and Matt Schechter, who met at CHOP’S Voorhees Oncology Clinic. The fund is dedicated to finding treatments for high-risk pediatric cancers.
