Golfing and nurses is a great mix in Moorestown

The 16th Annual Moorestown Visiting Nurses and Hospice Benefit Golf Tournament was held on Tuesday, Oct. 4 at Riverton Country Club. Golfers enjoyed a sunny Tuesday playing in the scramble format tournament, which was followed by a buffet dinner reception, party, and auction. Winners of the 2011 Moorestown Visiting Nurses and Hospice Benefit Golf Tournament were Mike Carson of Cherry Hill, Scott Bergson of Voorhees, Matt Johnson of Atco, and Jack Batdorf of Mount Laurel.

Proceeds from the golf outing benefit patients of the charitable home care, hospice, counseling and wellness programs of Moorestown Visiting Nurses and Hospice.

Founded in 1904, Moorestown Visiting Nurses and Hospice is a non-profit organization that provides homecare, hospice, private duty, counseling and community wellness services to families in Burlington, Camden and Gloucester counties. To learn more call 552–1300 or visit www.moorestownvna.org.
