Quakers spike their way into a successful weekend

The varsity and junior varsity volleyball teams raised their record to 5–0 with 2–0 wins over Camden Charter and Paul VI and a thrilling 2–1 victory over Shawnee High School. Marisa Randazzo and Anna Allende led the varsity team in kills, and Jessica Booth led the team in aces. The varsity team then hosted a tri-match with Cherokee and Southern (Manahawkin).

Cherokee prevailed in their match with Moorestown 2–0 (25–20, 25–21) while Moorestown rallied to beat Southern 2–1. Moorestown was led by Marisa Randazzo who tallied 18 kills against Southern, and 10 against Cherokee. Tori DeBerardinis led the team in digs with 11.

The freshmen team finished the week at 2–2, with wins over Rancocas Valley and Cherry Hill East. Rachel Fordham and Kennedy Hubbard continued their development over the week.

On Saturday, Sept. 24, the varsity and freshmen teams will host quad matches starting at 10 a.m. Stop by and see some exciting volleyball action.
