Haddonfield set to remember 9/11

Ten years ago the twin towers came down during the most brazen terroristic attack this country has even seen. Everyone throughout the country will recognize the 10th anniversary of 9–11 and local representatives are calling for a 10th anniversary remembrance.

Mayor Tish Colombi urged residents to attend the Grace Episcopal Church in Haddonfield on Sunday, Sept. 11, which will host its annual council of churches 9–11 memorial service at 7 p.m. The ceremony will feature representatives from several churches throughout Haddonfield, several different speakers, and choirs performing, Colombi said.

She also asked residents to attend the annual bell ringing ceremony at the First Presbyterian Church, 20 Kings Highway East, at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 11 as well. The church will read the names of those who lost their lives in the 9–11 terrorist attacks and will give visitors the opportunity to ring its church bell in remembrance of the victims.
