Cleanup still continues from Hurricane Irene

Even though it was just a category one storm, Hurricane Irene still caused significant flooding and damage in Moorestown Township. Here are several pictures that residents sent over detailing the damage of the storm and some of the cleanup efforts that extended into the middle of this week.

The hurricane caused significant flooding and a number of trees to fall over due to the intense saturation of the ground. Mayor John Button praised the township and the office of emergency management for its quick response to the storm and the damage it caused.
