Mount Laurel Police arrested a 39 year-old man of the 400 block of Siegfried Avenue, Chesilhurst on July 12 for burglary. Subsequent investigation led to the arrest of another man, 33, of Brookshire Road, Erial and a 19 year-old woman of the 400 block of South Marion Avenue, Wenonah on July 13 for burglary.
The 39 year-old was charged with burglary, theft, and conspiracy. The other two were charged with conspiracy. All three were charged in connection with the following incident: A resident of the 100 block of Heather Drive (Laurelwood) reported a burglary and theft to a residence. The incident occurred on June 14, between 7:30 a.m. and noon. Entry was gained by forcing the front window. Three laptop computers, valued at approximately $1,550, were taken.
The investigation also led to additional charges filed against the 39 year-old for the following incident: A resident of the 500 block of South Brentwood Drive (Ramblewood) reported a burglary and theft to a residence. The incident occurred on June 13, between 8:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Entry was gained by forcing the rear kitchen window. Jewelry and a laptop computer, valued at approximately $4,700, were taken. Damage to the kitchen window is estimated at $500.
The 39 year-old was served with criminal complaints and lodged in the Burlington County Jail in lieu of $75,000 bail. The 33 year-old was served with criminal complaints and lodged in the Burlington County Jail in lieu of $15,000 bail. The 19 year-old was served with criminal complaints and released pending a court appearance.
