Will there be Christmas in July?

The Moorestown Township Council has already published the agenda for its regularly scheduled meeting tonight, July 11 at 7:30 p.m. at 801 N. Stanwick Road.

The council will discuss several items, of which include a special discussion about the proposal to purchase more than $30,000 worth of holiday decorations for Main Street in the township.

Appearance committee members Gina Zegal and Vickie Sewell pitched their plan to council at a mid-June meeting, asking the members to consider the allocation of $33,790 for the purchase of 62 light fixtures that would be affixed to each light pole Main Street from the intersection near Friendly’s to just east of Chester Avenue.

The council will discuss the proposal at length Monday night.
