The following items were taken from reports on file with the Cherry Hill Police Department:
On May 23 at 2:01 p.m., police conducted a motor vehicle stop for violations. During the course of the stop it was determined that the front seat passenger was in possession of narcotics. The passenger, a male from the 1500 Block of New York Ave., Hainsport, was charged accordingly with Possession of Heroin, Possession of Cocaine, and Possession of Hypodermic Needles. The driver, a female from the 100 Block of New York Ave., Hainsport, was charged with Possession of Hypodermic Needles.
On May 21 at 4:21 p.m., police conducted a motor vehicle stop for violations. During the course of the stop it was determined that the driver of the vehicle was in possession of narcotics. The male, from the Unit Block of Faybrooke Dr., Marlton, was charged accordingly with Possession of Scheduled Narcotic and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
On May 19 at 2:21 p.m., police responded to the unit block of Willowdale Dr. for the report of a burglary. The incident took place on this date before 1:56 p.m. The actor(s) entered through an unlocked side entry door and took jewelry. The actor(s) also attempted to open a safe. This incident is under investigation by the Cherry Hill Investigative Unit.
On May 17 at 6:12 p.m., police responded to the unit block of Hilltop Dr. for the report of a burglary. The incident took place between 6:30 p.m. on May 16 and 6 p.m. on May 17. The actor(s) forced a rear-sliding window open to make entry. Nothing was reported missing at this time. This incident is under investigation by the Cherry Hill Investigative Unit.
On May 16 at 3:58 p.m., police responded to the unit block of Melody Ln. for the report of a burglary. The incident took place between 8:10 a.m. and 3:58 p.m. The actor(s) forced entry to a rear door and took jewelry, electronics, and change. This incident is under investigation by the Cherry Hill Investigative Unit. Witnesses reported seeing several suspicious persons in the area during the time frame of the burglary. Witnesses said there were one to three white males, one with long hair, carrying an item under his arm and walking from area of burglary.
A Hispanic male and a Hispanic female entered the Ulta store at 907 Haddonfield Road on May 21. The female selected perfume and the male concealed it in a messenger type bag. The pair was in the store less than four minutes, and when chased into the parking lot by employees, the male dropped the bag, which contained almost $700 in merchandise. On May 19, police responded to the Home Depot at 2160 Rt. 70 for a shoplifter. A male from Philadelphia stole $2,392 worth of merchandise and was arrested without incident. Search incident to arrest yielded drug paraphernalia on his person.
On May 10, a hold-up robbery was reported in the Cherry Hill Mall parking lot. A female employee stated that she was walking with the night deposit, when a male grabbed the money from her hand and pushed her into a vehicle. Through investigation, detectives learned the female falsely reported the crime, so she and a male friend could use the money for upcoming social events. Both the female of Monitor Rd., Camden and the male, of N. 38th St., Pennsauken, were arrested and charged accordingly.
