An oft traveled roadway just on the border of Haddonfield and Cherry Hill will be closed for a week.
Park Boulevard between King’s Highway and Schoolhouse Lane will be undergoing emergency repair work to replace a collapsed water drain pipe and to install storm water drainage structures, Camden County representatives reported.
Today, that portion of the road will have only one lane open. It will then be open in both directions over the weekend, but will be completely closed from Tuesday, May 17 through Tuesday, May 24 to complete the reconstruction work.
The construction work also includes a concrete curb, asphalt sidewalk where needed, the reconstruction of the roadway above the pipe and reconstruction of a manhole. The detour route during the week will be Kings Highway to Grove Street to Park Boulevard, Camden County representatives reported.
