A win and a loss for Moorestown Tennis

Moorestown boys tennis had one loss and one at the recent Westfield Invitational, bringing their record to 11–6.

Moorestown defeated Scotch Plains Fanwood, 4–1, before falling, 4–1, to Westfield in the finals.

Against Scotch Plains Fanwood, Moorestown won the first two singles. Pierce Cooper defeated Ezra Klemhow 1–3, and Colin Groundwater beat Eric Leydon, while Bryce Cody lost at №3 to Andrew Lotschner.

In doubles, both Moorestown teams — Tyler Blessing and Matt Holzinger vs. Evan Shlissel and Josh Lopez, and Hamza Husain and Dan Schafhauser vs. Kyle Douglas and Mike Rosentuch — took the doubles points.

Against Westfield, Cooper defeated Tom Kowalski 2,4, while Greenwood lost to Scott Thompson 3,0, and Cody lost to Alan Chu 3,0.

Blessing and Holzinger lost to Josh Simmions and Jacob Ziff 4,5, and Husain and Schafhauser lost to Max Mancini and Jacob Harris in the two doubles matches.
