Will this year’s BOE race be contested?

There are three spots opening up on the Moorestown Board of Education. Will there be a contested race to serve on the Board? We’ll find out today after 4 p.m.

BOE President Don Mishler, Vice President Christina Zajac, and member Larry Friedman, are all set to see their Board terms expire in 2011, leaving three, three year seats open for this year’s race.

Candidates that wish to see their names on the ballot during the April 27 school board election must file a nominating petition with the MTPS Board secretary’s office by today’s 4 p.m. deadline.

Stay tuned to find out who could be directing your school district’s budget and policies this time next year.
