Its Fat Tuesday, time to eat, drink, and be merry.
The Moorestown Mall food court has the eating part down, especially with the announcement of a new sushi spot that offers a spicy, signature chicken teriyaki dish, meaning all you Catholics out there might want to check it out before meat on Fridays is a no no for the next 40 days.
At Sakura House, the newest addition to the malls food court, chefs grill sweet and spicy teriyaki chicken, and a display case is brimming with fresh, handmade sushi rolls.
The 980-square-foot traditional Japanese eatery with affordable, healthy, and high-quality dishes is now open next to Master Wok and the new Bubby’s Brisket. Specialties include the California Roll, Philadelphia Roll, and Japanese Green Salad, in addition to the famous teriyaki chicken.
Two additional eateries, both new concepts to South Jersey, also recently opened in Moorestown Mall’s Food Court. Bubby’s Brisket features slow-cooked brisket; tender, hand-carved pastrami and corned beef; and continental fries, while Elevation Burger boasts a healthy quick-service alternative: burgers made from organic, grass-fed, and free range beef and gluten-free fries.
“Whether enjoying the mall for shopping, special events, or dining, Moorestown Mall is a popular place to meet and spend time with family and friends,” said Lisa Wolstromer, Moorestown Mall senior marketing director. “The addition of three culinary options, all rather new and different, furthers the mall’s role as an integral part of the community.”
