The Mt. Laurel Library is hosting Crude: Environmental Film and Discussion this afternoon from 2 to 4:30 p.m. The library is located at 100 Walt Whitman Ave.
As part of its Face to Face: Community Conversations on Environmental Justice Film series, the New Jersey Council for the Humanities presents a screening of the documentary Crude: The Real Price Of Oil followed by a discussion led by scholar Francis Conroy, Professor of Philosophy at Burlington County College.
Crude: The Real Price Of Oil is the story of a lawsuit by tens of thousands of Ecuadorans against Chevron over contamination of the Ecuadorean Amazon.
