Make a difference with Literacy Volunteers

You can make a difference in the life of an adult who wants to learn to speak English or improve his reading and math skills.

Literacy Volunteers of Camden County is seeking volunteer tutors to teach ESL and other functional literacy skills. No experience is necessary, just the willingness to reach out and help a motivated learner. Tutors must be at least 18 years of age.

The Spring Tutor Training Workshops will be held at the Camden County Library in Voorhees on six Mondays beginning, March 28, from 6:30 to 9 p.m. (No class on April 18.) Sign up today by calling Literacy Volunteers of Camden County at 772–1636 ext. 3331 or visiting us online at lva.camdencountylibrary.org.
