Senior meals program cancelled

The Burlington County Office on Aging announced it has postponed is senior meals program at Nutrition Sites in Moorestown as well as its Meals on Wheels Program to homebound clients, for Wednesday, Jan. 12 because of tonight’s predicted snowstorm.

The BCTS paratransit transportation service for seniors and those with disabilities is scheduled to operate a limited service that includes Veterans Transportation, employment transportation for those with disabilities, non-emergency medical trips and shopping service.

Any client with a reservation should call to ensure their destination site is open and then confirm their reservation by calling (800) 836–0580.

All six BurLink fixed routes that connect to the NJTransit RiverLINE and NJTransit bus service are scheduled to operate.

Riders can expect delays due to road conditions. For additional and updated information, call (800) 836–0580 or (609) 265–5109.
