The following items were taken from reports on file with the Cherry Hill Police Department:
On Dec. 21, at 1:24 a.m., police responded to the 100 block of Chapel Avenue for a disturbance. On location one of the parties was found to be in possession of narcotics and was charged accordingly with possession of heroin, possession of hypodermic needle and possession/use/failure to dispose controlled dangerous substances.
On Dec. 20, at 11:04 p.m., police responded to Rite Aid (823 Cooper Landing Road) for the report of a shoplifter in custody. The suspect selected various items and attempted to leave without payment. The suspect was found to be in possession of narcotics and charged accordingly with possession of heroin and possession of hypodermic needle.
On Dec. 19, at 6:41 p.m., police responded to Hollister (2000 Route 38) for the report of a shoplifter in custody. The suspect selected various items totaling more than $300 and attempted to leave without payment. The suspect was charged accordingly with shoplifting and hindering apprehension.
On Dec. 19, at 4:54 p.m., police conducted a motor vehicle stop for violations. During the course of the stop, the passenger was found to be in possession of heroin and marijuana and was charged accordingly with possession of heroin, possession of hypodermic needle, possession of marijuana under 50.
Between Dec. 14 and Dec. 18, an unknown actor entered a dwelling on the unit block of Spruce Street (Hinchman) via the basement window. The suspect stole various tools. The incident is under investigation by Cherry Hill Investigative Unit.
